Another quick question gentlemen please. Is it true that no follow up application upgrades can be offered through the AppUp store? For example: a developer wants to offer an app with an integrated customer care program and possible upgrades to the software. Then do these attributes need to be treated as seperate apps within the store ? Sorry if this is an obvious question, I did search the FAQ's first. Thanks again Colin

Hello Colin,

Upgrades can be offered through the AppUp store but not outside it. For example a developer could have both a free and paid version which are treated as separate apps within the store.

Upgrades cannot be offered from outside the store. In other words all apps, updates, upgrades must go through validation. The following would cause apps to be rejected:

# Advertisements within applications that promote users to purchase or upgrade the application outside of AppUp
# Demo and trial versions of the application should not be used to market versions available outside of AppUp.
