The Intel AppUpSM developer program is now accepting apps created for the MeeGo OS. And Submit Early for MeeGo program rewards the developers who start developing apps for this new mobile OS right away. US$500 for first 100 apps Create one of the first 100 quality apps for MeeGo-based devices to be validated by the Intel AppUp developer program and receive US$500. US$1,000 for the 10 best apps Develop one of the 10 best MeeGo apps out the first 100, and you'll win an additional US$1,000. In short, you could earn US$1,500 by creating an app for this new OS for netbooks, tablets, and other mobile devices, before it even goes on sale. What are you waiting for? Get in early. Get noticed. There's more. Getting your MeeGo app in early means you app will be among the first apps offered to customers once the Intel AppUpSM center begins offering MeeGo apps. Hi,

I have developed an app for MeeGo which was published and I have registered to the contest. The application is simple so I have published it for free download.

I would like to have as much downloads as possible so I am wondering when AppUp Client for MeeGo will have stable version and when do Intel plan to release it on the global market for end customers?

I do not expect an exact date but would be nice to know for example will it be ready by the end of Q2 2011. Depending on this information I will be able to make my plans for future development.

I believe that all MeeGo developers are wondering about the same so please share information if you have such :)
