getting started for Ultrabook and win 8 development

Hi I am trying to make an application for ultrabook and windows 8 ,which will use ultrabook sensors.I am a java developer so I want to use c# for development due to its similarity with java.but I am not able to find windows 8 sensor api reference for c#(something like javadocs).can you please give the links for this information.Also lnks to some getting started guides for windows 8 sensor api will be very useful,but only in C#,

I am making a desktop app for windows 8,if that makes any difference.

Don't you think that might be a bit of a leap for someone that can't find out how to use the API for the UB sensors to work with Kinetic?
