I'm looking for some documentation about API history. The documentation available in the 2012 R3 release give information about the 1.4 API but I have to deal with older APIs using hardware capabilities.
Is there some documentation explaining prototypes and structures for older API (1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3) ?

Media SDK API revision aspect is not reflected in the include files but the Media SDK reference manual provides details about each parameter and in what API revision it was introduced.
If you find a specific parameter for which API revision is not clear let us know.
Also note that you can always use the Query call to check what features/parameters are supported by the underlying platform.
