Intel Media SDK 2013 now available for download!  

Intel Media SDK 2013 now supports fixed-function hardware acceleration for video on Intel® Atom® processor-based tablets with Microsoft* Windows operating systems including video playback, editing and conversion. The SDK, newly optimized for upcoming 4th generation Intel® Core™ processors, codenamed "Haswell," includes enhanced support for Windows 8 including Microsoft DirectX 11, fully accelerated MPEG2 encode and MPEG/JPEG decode, and a Windows Store development sample. Use of Intel Media SDK 2013 also includes free licensing and source for integration with Open Source projects. The SDK is available as a free download.
