now playing with the sample_encode.exe from the 2012R3 and 2013 SDK I found another problem.
Using the sample encoder as shipped in the SDK I've managed to parallel encode AVC and MVC into different output files. The command line reads like this: sample_encode.exe mvc -i d:\left.yuv -i d:\right.yuv -o d:\3dtest.avc -o d:\3dtest.mvc -viewoutput -w 1920 -h 1080
This works fine but using the additional -hw option leads to trouble. The sample encoder from the 2012 R3 SDK seems to run fine but the output in the MVC is not correct, because it contains AVC data. AFAIK the AVC elementary streams begins with a AUD (0x000109) while the MVC equivalent is (0x000118). The hex dump shows, that the MVC now starts with the AVC-AUD and doesn't seem to contain valid MVC elementary data.
Using the sample encoder from the 2013 release works also well as long as the -hw option is ommited. Using the -hw option gives the following output:
Return on error: error code -3, .\src\pipeline_encode.cpp 873
The computer is running Windows 7 with current patches and most recent drivers. Any suggestions?
