Can I submit a bug report or feature request that the -gen-dep flag not include a bunch of compiler files when intrinsic modules are used? For example, I have a file that produces the expected dependencies when I do not use ISO_FORTRAN_ENV, but when I do use the intrinsic module it includes a bunch of stuff in /opt/ and /usr/ that is not a dependency of the code, because ISO_FORTRAN_ENV is an intrinsic language feature.
With ifort version 126.96.36.199, build 20130121, I run:
$ ifort -syntax-only -stand f08 -standard-semantics -gen-dep=kinds.d kinds.f90
And from this I get the expected output:
kinds.mod : kinds.f90 kinds.o : kinds.f90 debugging.mod
Now if I add
Use iso_fortran_env ,Only: INT8 ,INT16 ,INT32 ,INT64 ,REAL32 ,REAL64 ,REAL128to the file, and I get dependencies that should not be included. See the attached files.
