Our summer intern has been given a project to develop an AMT prototype management application and he can only use online resources. So even though he will be sitting here with us, he will need to learn about AMT and get help in the same manner as all of our other community members.
I'm a rather private person and the thought of having my picture available for the world to view online made me feel a bit nervous. With all the privacy issues and concerns in the news, who knows what sinister folk are out there ready to take advantage of my extremely public information. I'm still uneasy about my blogs being the first hit when I Google my name. But there it is. And now, so is my picture.
While I was trying different OS options on the Eee PC 901, I spent some time with Ubuntu Eee. It's not an official Ubuntu/Canonical project, but rather a community driven custom distribution with some Eee-specific features and tweaks. It's quite nice, and very functional.
