Intel SCS not discovering Vpro Clients

Hello all,

Currently i have a Vpro Enabled Laptop, Acer Travel Mate 6493. I am running:

  1. Windows Server 2003 32 bit in Sun virtual box on this machine
  2. Running Intel SCS Server version 5.4.0.9 on Windows Server 2003
  3. I have created a profile with digest user "test" with password "P@ssw0rd"
  4. Please see the screenshot of how I created profile step by step

ALSO, this is NON TLS BASED IMPLEMENTATION

Not able to connect over SOL using a Digest Master Password

A bit a background to my problem:

Due to a number of reasons I can only use the SCS service and digest authentication and cannot use AD Integration or PKI and TLS for security to provision and access the workstation. Also, the workstations are pre-configured at the factory with a PSK for zero touch provisioning.

DE67-HA AMT

Hello,

I just got a new DE67-HA (specifically because of AMT),
and have ran into an odd issue (contrary to configuration
instructions). AMT seems properly enabled in BIOS, yet when I enter the
ME BIOS EXTENSION (via Ctrl P), I am not asked for a password, I don't
any references to changing/setting passwords, and I don't see how to
proceed beyond that point.

Please assist. Thank you

Enabling legacy mode redirection

Hi All,

I'm provisiong AMT systems 6.0 and above using Enterprise mode(Remote configuration - PKI )
Legacy redirection mode is disabled after doing provision, is there any way to enable Legacy redirection mode without entering MEBx menu. I would like to enable through WS-Man call or as configuration parameter similar to enable KVM redirection in remote configuration without changing status as Enabled in MEBx menu

Thanks,
Mani

AMT Discovery with WPF

Has anyone used the AMTDiscovery class from the Manageability Developer Toolkit inside a WPF application? I have been able to successfully discover AMT machines. What I haven't been able to do is update the UI to display the discovered machines. The OnDiscoveryEvent runs in a different thread than the UI so I get the following error when I try to update the user interface: "The calling thread must be STA, because many UI components require this." Any suggestions on how to architect around this.

Managing BIOS Settings for Multiple Systems (DQ67SW)

One of my first managability tasks with the DQ67SW systems is trying to figure out how to change a number of BIOS configuration settings remotely via a program or script. For right now, I need to change the Chipset SATA mode to AHCI and set the Supervisor Password. There may also be a need to change the Supervisor Password periodically. What would the best methods be to accomplish this? Thanks!

Managability Commander v7.0.11340.2 Remote KVM Redirection Port - Not working

I have been using theManagability Commander v7.0.11340.2 with the built-in Remote KVM to the Redirection Port, and it is not working. It works to the Standard Port. The RealVNC Client works as well. I believe that the Intel software is attempting to communicate with the wrong port on the client. I believe there was a port number change between AMT versions and this isn't working with the new version. I had similar issues with the prior release as well. Is there somewhere I can verify this?
