For a few months we have an App on Intel's AppUp store. It is called Photo Touch and it is a photo editing App design for Multi-touch interface. It is doing well so we decided to go to the next level and add sharing capability. The first option was using our server.

One of the features of Intel® Cloud Service Platform is the Location Based Services. This is a collection of APIs that provide a rich set of services to add location based features to an application. The services are available in both a REST interface and a JavaScript API library .
In this app tutorial, we will use the JavaScript API library. To maintain simplicity, the app will only use some of the key features. But we highly recommend reviewing the API Reference to see all the available function calls.
