We recently teamed up with MIT's Professional Development Program on a 2-day workshop focused on multicore programming.
The first lecture covered:
- The multicore programming challenge
- Shared-memory hardware
- Leading concurrency platforms (Pthreads, OpenMP, TBB, Cilk++)
- Race conditions
