In order to make use of this Cluster OpenMP license: You must have a valid, licensed Intel compiler, version 9.1 or later. Cluster OpenMP runs only with a LINUX* operating system (not Windows* or Mac OS* X), and only on Intel® 64 or IA-64 (Itanium(R)) architectures. The Cluster OpenMP license file will make it possible to use either the “-cluster-openmp” or “-cluster-openmp-profile” compiler options with your compiler when compiling a program.
To download the license file: Click the link below, then click “Save” and select a directory in which to place the file. The directory you select for placing the license file should be one of the places that the compiler will check for licenses. Typically, you should use /opt/intel/licenses (but see below for more information). Do not change the file type (.lic) of the file name. If you change the file type, the compiler will not be able to use the license. The downloaded license file should be used intact. It should not be edited in any way or renamed, because either could invalidate it.
More information about choosing the directory for placing the license file: The license file should be downloaded and placed in one of the directories in the path specified by the environment variable INTEL_LICENSE_FILE, which is assigned a value in the script file (iccvars.csh, iccvars.sh, ifortvars.csh, or ifortvars.sh) which sets up the working environment for your compiler. Typically this would be in one of the directories: <compiler install directory>/licenses or /opt/intel/licenses, or <home directory>/intel/licenses.
