This solution for parallel composer does not work for Windows 7. There is no "Add/Remove Programs". Using the new functionality "Programs and Features", "Modify" and "Repair" do not offer the option of using a disk other than C:. I did not use C: on the original install as I use an SSD to boot and have my programs on another device. If you are going to force the use of the C: drive, a legacy from decades ago which someone has not bothered to fix, perhaps you should ship the largest and fastest drive made free with each piece of your software. In any case the "modify" wants to install everything again (Intel Parallel Composer 2011 Update 2). This did however resolve the problem.

I have no ampl-vsreg and add/remove (which does exist in win 7 - just type remove in to the start menu search box) fails because it requires the original source media - I'll just reinstall from the download - that should work.
