Mark your Calendar for the OpenMP Class, March 3, 2009

If you are planning on attending SIGSCE 09 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, come early and join Intel expert Michael Wrinn for a free one-day OpenMP class at the Chattanooga Marriott hotel. Learn about new ways to enhance task parallelism with OpenMP.  The class is from 1-5 pm, but technical help will be available starting at 11:30 am.  Attendance is limited. Two High Performance Computing Courses Available for Linux OS

  • Introduction to High-Performance Computing includes the basics of high-performance cluster computing with hands-on lab exercises, use of cluster resources, application preparation, an overview of performance analysis and tuning, application debugging and porting tips.
  • MPI Programming and Applications Tuning combines lecture and hands-on lab exercises of parallel computation models, parallel programming, and tuning for single-node and cluster performance. Emphasis is placed on using MPI, including applying the right tools for debugging and tuning distributed memory (cluster) applications.

  

Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) Curriculum

  • The UEFI is well suited to complement an Operating System Course.  Take a look at the topics included and let us know if they'll be valuable for you.
