Physical Address Extension allowing processes to run greater than 2GB of RAM on a server running Windows* 2000 Advanced Server is not supported by the Intel® C++ Compiler or the Intel® Fortran 32-bit compiler.

Some customers have been successful using 4-gigabyte tuning under Microsoft Windows* Advanced Server to allocate 3 gigabytes of memory for their application.

For more information on 4-gigabyte tuning, please see the Microsoft Windows* 2000 Datacenter Server †web site.
