The Intel® IPP Unified Image Codecs (UIC) included with the Intel IPP Samples are a set of C++ interfaces that simplify the use of various image codecs in applications. UIC includes abstract base classes to specify particular interfaces and provides implementation of some image codecs, for example JPEG and JPEG2000, built on top of these base classes.
The attached PDF file is a presentation which describes more information about UIC functions.
