Problem :
I have installed Intel license manager on my Windows OS server, however, I got the error as below when I started Intel license manager for FLEXlm: "The file you selected is not a valid counted license. Please select a different license file." Can you help me to fix this error?

Resolution :

To work around this issue, please do the following:
1. Open a cmd prompt window
2. Run this command in the cmd prompt window:
copy /y "%CommonProgramFiles%\Intel\FLEXlm\chklic.exe" "%TEMP%"
3. Restart the intel license manager from Start / All Programs / Intel Software Development Tools / Intel License Manger for FLEXlm / Configure Intel License Manager for FLEXlm
