Intel MKL - setting up system path environment variable is removed

Description:Microsoft Windows* System PATH environment variable is no longer set during installation of Intel® MKL

Problem :

  • Recent Composer XE 2013 and Parallel Studio XE 2013 installations on Microsoft Windows* have caused system path overflow
  • Overflow is not always detected and results in truncation of end of string, sometimes resulting in loss of Windows system path, causing command-line shell corruption
  • limit for maximum length of SYSTEM PATH is as low as 2k

Resolution: To avoid this overflow of system path, starting from MKL 11.0 System Path environment variable will no longer be set up during installation
