How to activate or install a product on a second system not connected to the internet

If you have a single user license that you activated on one system and you want to do the same on a second system not connected to the internet, you can do that by using remote activation or making the license file available on the second system. We do not track (associate) a system with an installation, so a product with a Single User license can be installed anywhere. Single-user license allows the license owner to install the product on multiple systems. However, only ONE copy of the software may be in use at any one time. Please see End User License Agreement for your reference.

Unable to Download Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives (IPP) Cryptography library

Symptom: Unable to download Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives (IPP) Cryptography library from Intel Registration Center (IRC).

Cause: Not having a strong Password may lead to IPP Cryptography library download Problems.

Solution: Users password should be strong enough for the role required to access the download.

Password Guildelines for Strong Password:

In order to protect your security, Intel has certain rules for choosing passwords.
Can I set both LM_LICENSE_FILE and INTEL_LICENSE_FILE Environment Variables?

If a User encounters approx 30 seconds delay in each invocation of the Product (for example Intel® Composer XE)
it means that product is taking time to fetch License file.
Check if the License is residing in the Local machine or in the remote server.
If the License is in the Local machine, just setting the INTEL_LICENSE_FILE Environment Variable is good enough.
If the License is located in remote server on the network, then go ahead and set the LM_LICENSE_FILE environment variable.
But, if the License file is located in the local machine and still you set both the License variables, product keeps on searching for license file on the remote server, even though it finds file in local machine. There is no mechanism to say which License variable will be fetched first.
It is inherent in FlexNet Licensing to check ALL locations before returning (even if a valid license is found in the first location), so the mere fact of specifying many locations or keeping a large number of license files will slow down license checkouts.
