The header says this was published in 2008, but the article talks about upcoming events in 2003 and 2004. Do you have any more current roadmap style articles?

I agree with Chris. When you search for Itanium roadmap information, there is nothin recent to find. Nothing specific. My experience learned me this means there is nothing promissing to come, compared to competitors.
I hope I am wrong though, but the fact that no-one from intel even replies to a post almost a half year ago ...

This is the actual stuff that I was looking for... Poulson is Intel’s next generation 32nm 8 core based Itanium chip, and is on track to more than double the performance of the existing Tukwila architecture. Kittson is an officially committed roadmap product for Itanium beyond Poulson and is also in active development. Intel Itanium processor industry momentum will be highlighted in a keynote at the upcoming Beijing Intel Developer’s Forum. The IDF 2011 site is available at the following address:

http://www.intel.com/idf/technology/index.htm

Oracle's decision is ethically incorrect, anti-competitive, self centered and technologically degenerative. It's pretty much clear that customers following Oracle are bound to loose in the long run.
