You will be working closely with the Intel Academic Community team, especially with the Community Manager, Marketing Manager and Intel Architects.
Exact duties will vary depending on education and domain specialty. Tasks may include:
- Working with Community Manager to extend impact of academic programs on Academic Community website
- Organizing of computer science coursework for faculty worldwide with community manager
- Helping to devise learning paths for undergraduate educators under supervision of course architects
- Supporting cross-industry initiatives for the promotion of computer science education.
- Support at industry events
- Updating website, creating documents, pages, and processes
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong interest in building online communities
- Undergraduate and/or graduate experience in computer science and/or engineering
- Hands-on experience with parallelism and distributed computing a plus
- Experience teaching parallelism in an undergraduate context a plus
- Experience teaching faculty a huge plus
- Experience with Intel tools and technologies nice to have
- Willingness to engage with industry and academia's brightest lights, equal willingness to roll up your sleeves and do tedious but necessary tasks a must.
