Intel Software Network TV wins American Marketing Association(AMA) Annual Marketing Award of Excellence (MAX Award)

On February 25th the Portland Chapter of the American Marketing Association presented the Intel Software Network (ISN) TV Team with a 2010 MAX Award. ISN TV was recognized for their effective use of engaging with developer via real time audio and video streaming conversation. The award finalist included SawStop, Icebreaker, Port of Vancouver, Mt Hood Meadows, Oregon Lottery and Adidas MLS.

The Intel Software Network Team developed three original programs for three specific audiences: Parallel Programming Talk hosted by Aaron Tersteeg & Clay Breshears, Teach Parallel with Paul Steinberg and Professor Tom Murphy and Visualize This! hosted by Arti Gupta. The programs are broadcast on a regular basis and each has a similar format. Developers can tune in to the streams, listen to world-class developers talk about their passions and watch demonstrations of Intel software technology. Josh Bancroft and Jerry Makare jointly produce each show.

The shows have been a huge success with developers and are broadcast every Tuesday throughout the year and steadily ramped with a loyal base of followers. As of January 2010 the network has received 25,025 video views and 35,968 audio streams listens for the 134 episodes produced.

Developers can watch the live broadcasts every Tuesday on Intel Software Network Television (ISN TV).
