      <description><![CDATA[ great article. I've been tearing my hair out looking for a way to get more animated characters on the screen at the same time. I'm using XNA and developing for XBOX 360. Although the chip architecture is not intel, this article is still very useful to newer generation programmers like me, who started with managed code (.net framework) and don't do threading very often besides the trivial background workers for Windows apps.
