There was a limitation of the Intel(R) Parallel Composer beta's Integration with Microsoft Visual Studio*. After you installed the Intel Parallel Composer beta on a system that has Intel C++ Compiler 9.x, 10.x or 11.0 installed already, the IDE integration of Intel Parallel Composer will replace the existing IDE integration from Intel C++ Compiler. This causes the existing Intel C++ Compiler 9.x, 10.x or 11.0 not usable from within the Visual Studio IDE.
This limitation does not apply to the Intel Parallel Composer release or the Intel Parallel Studio release. When you installed the Intel Parallel Composer on a system that has the older Intel C++ Compiler installed, the IDE integration will be upgraded to the version from Intel Parallel Composer. And you will still be able to use the older compiler from within the Visual Studio IDE. Simply set the default compiler to the older compiler from the Tools Options dialog.
