Orion Granatir Biography

Orion Granatir is a senior engineer with Intel’s Visual Computing Software Division. He is the Technical Lead on the Intel Smoke Game Technology demo project.

Prior to joining Intel in 2007, Orion worked on several PlayStation 3 titles as a senior programmer with Insomniac Games. His most recent published titles are Resistance: Fall of Man, and Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.

Keep me up-to-date on your demo. It sounds like an interesting project ^_^

I really don't know own to join you, so here I'am :p

My Physics Engine is able to compute 2 500 moving and colliding objects on 1 thread and more than 10 000 objects on 8 threads. That's x4 !!!
- The test was made on a corei7 2.6 Ghz.
- Objects are not particles (every object may collide with each other)
- no animation or AI
