      <description><![CDATA[ The author neglected to mention the interesting fact that this quasi-cross-compatibility marvel of reverse engineering, of which Visual J# was based, ultimately set Microsoft back and Sun forward $2 Billion.  Ouch.  Although useful, it should be noted that Visual J# has been officially deprecated by Microsoft.  I thought I would share those few bits of information. ]]></description>
