1)Controlling OpenMP Threading in the Intel IPP Primitives:
please be carefully with when HT enabled or not. For some of IPP functionality, for example for cryptography functionality, it will have the negative affect. 
2)Memory Alignment:
some more details about how to align the allocated memory with IPP, please see into IPP User's Guide,chapter 7. You can find there the list of functions can be used for that and the example of the code shows how to call it. ]]></description>
