In my conversations with the Threading Building Blocks community, people have said that more code samples would be helpful. To organize the available TBB code samples, a new TBB Code Samples page has been posted. The page categorizes the currently available TBB code samples, including the examples that come with the source download and some additional examples developed by the TBB community.
The TBB development team is working on some new examples, small snippets that that focus on and demonstrate a specific TBB component. These will be added to the page when they are available.
Members of the TBB community are also invited to submit code samples that demonstrate facets of application of TBB components. Smaller code samples can be submitted as a TBB Discussion Form post.
TBB Projects Catalog
If you're working on a larger Threading Building Blocks application or project, you may be interested in another new page that is under development: the TBB Projects Catalog page. This page will feature entries about projects that apply TBB. The content of the entries will be more or less whatever you'd like to submit in a freeform statement, along with some basic information such as what platform the application runs on, the project web site (if it has one), etc. -- pretty much anything you'd like to provide.
If you have a project you'd like to include on the TBB Projects Catalog page, let me know. The page isn't live yet, but it will be soon.
