What is this?
Recently a couple collegues and I took this Environment Detection lab to an Intel® AMT training event and delivered it to a group of engineers supporting AMT. Since we got such great feedback from the course we decided to post it on our Manageability Site (here). Start with taking a look a the Network Diagram. Then if you have an environment w/systems that can support this lab, take a look at the lab instructions handout to read more about what are the requirements and next steps. We suspect there will be questions so go ahead and route them to our Manageability Forum.
High Level Overview:
This Do-it-yourself lab consists of 4 exercises. The first 3 exercises demonstrate various Environment Detection configurations (step-by-step instructions are included.) The 4th exercise demonstrates Environment Detection with a System Defense Policy and is left to the participant to explore (the solution is available as an additional download.)
There are 4 files included in this Lab:
Note that this lab assumes that the users are able to set up their own networks, Servers and AMT Client systems.
