Today we are launching the new ISN video library site, with the tag line, "Take Five," with the goal of keeping most of the videos around 5 minutes long, but full of technical information. We are highlighting senior Intel Technologists in the series boxes and in spotlights. Where possible, we link directly to the Technologist's blog, or the community blog in the "Now Playing" section of the site.
We have several new features on the site: "Embed It" to embed videos in your blogs or webpages, and "Direct URL" for bookmarking and emailing to friends. Videos now automatically sort by date, with the most recent at the top. There is a new search function in the right column, and additional video categories - based on our software communities - found by using the blue arrows.
I have worked with the community managers, Aaron Tersteeg, Ajay Mungara, Steve Pitzel, and Jeff Moriarty, and video guru Josh Bancroft of BitStories fame to make these changes. And, couldn't have done any of it with out all of they key people led by Arti Gupta who have written the code to make it possible.
I hope you like the new site... I've done a quick video introduction. Send me your comments - are there features you will use? What did I miss? Which is your favorite video on the site?

Mike Mathews | I think this is a great idea. I wanted so badly to do this exact thing when I was in CMG working on IDF. Josh was incredible at leading us through and getting our first materials posted. |
