The Extractor Editor no longer Sucks

By Robert Ennals (Intel) (25 posts) on March 31, 2008 at 9:36 am

This post is about another of the new features that have just appeared in the new 0.4 release that we have just pushed out.

The Mash Maker extractor editor has now seen a major overhaul and is now much closer to being ready for widespread use. The old "structure" first model has now been replaced by a "pick first" model where you pick things you like from the page, and then build structure from what you have picked.

If you found the old extractor editor difficult to use then give it another go. The new version really is much much better.

Congratulation! I really hate it when software sucks. I can't wait to try it out.

Hey Rob, this is Justo.

I´m playing around with the Extractor, but it seems it still has problems with TDSTYLEs. The highlighter does not get to show me the text inside of a cell (the TDSTYLE), but only the TD. Do you guys have any F.A.Q. for Extractors that I could use?

Good job!
