GCDC'08: useful web ressources for developers

There are a lot of web-based Intel resources which deliver interesting information regarding game and application development. Today I will share a bunch of cool Intel websites where you find useful tips, deep insight and free downloads.

The webpage of Intel Software Development Products provides a really good overview. Here you will get the latest and coolest information about all the tools Intel is providing to software developers. Whether you want to learn something about Intel Compilers, Threading Analysis Tools or know about the different operating systems Intel is supporting - here you‘ll get the information you‘re looking for. On this webpage you can download some interesting stuff as well: Linux based compilers, libraries and threading analysis tools. And they are all for free.

Another good landing page for visual applications is the Visual Computing Group`s website. Here you can learn about Intel Integrated Graphics, what multi-threading can do for you and which tools you can download in order to optimize your code for Intel processors. In addition you‘ll find the latest blog posts and related comments here.

On go-parallel.com you get everything you want to know about parallelism, optimization, threading and HPC. You can also learn all about dual processors, hyper-threading, multi-core CPUs and much more. In addition there are tons of tutorials as well.
