Hi! ... What else should a first post say?

By Gunjan Rawal (Intel) (11 posts) on August 14, 2008 at 10:16 am

I’m Gunjan Rawal. I am a part of the Intel Software Network team and this is my first post. The first post is typically the hardest to write, I spent a lot of time wondering what I am going to say in the first post – Formula 1?… The best Thai food I ever had? (Nope!!). And then I realized I just want to introduce myself and say hi. So here goes…I am an engineer by background and over the past 10 years, I have been involved in a whole range of roles from program management to advertising. I have been with Intel for the three years (really? It seems like yesterday), working with the Intel Software College and Intel Software Network teams.
I am currently the program manager for a new developer recognition program we are launching at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF). I also work with Ajay Mungara on various initiatives for the Manageability Developer Community – community strategy, webinars, contests and lots more. I have thoroughly enjoyed working on the Manageability Community, being part of the discussions, the suggestions for improvement etc.
I intend to post on this blog about our upcoming recognition program, any changes we make, recommendations we receive from you, basically use this blog as a means of constantly improving the program based on your feedback. Stay tuned for more on this program next week! That’s all for now. Be back next week with more news on our new program :-)

Gunjan,
Welcome to the Software Blogs. Really nice to see that you are past the first blog post hurdle.

I have worked with you for so long, but I did not know that you are big Formula 1 fan. :-)
