What are you, uh, Makering there?

Off topic warning...

I just posted some photos over at my personal blog, Running in the Rain, about the Maker Faire Celebration held at the end of this year's Intel Developer Forum. Very fun stuff... check it out!

(Not totally off topic I guess, since this stuff is also Open Source, right?)

I LOVE Make magazine, the Maker Faire, and the whole maker culture. I think it's very much related/overlaps with open source and software. I'm jealous that you got to go to the Maker Faire at IDF - I've never been to one, but I want to, desperately. Being in the software group, though, I've yet to come up with a business reason that Intel needs to send me to Maker Faire one of these days. I'm still working on it. ;-)

It was very cool. I gave feedback to one of the IDF organizers that it was a highlight for me. Hopefully they will bring it back, and you can see it at IDF again!
