Tokyo Tech Days 2008, originally uploaded by jimgris.

I am currently in sunny Tokyo, Japan, to give a talk about Intel's products and our work in Java and the OpenSolaris operating system. I talked about our processor roadmap, performance tuning, power management, virtualization, fault management, device drivers... well the whole tange of things we are working on.

After the talk, I got some good questions, and gave out a number of t-shirts.

The talk was well attended, I thought. I wished I could hang out at the event venue more, but I have been scheduled in other customer meetings and internal meetings, so I was rushed away after my talk to give another one.

Due to an artifact of scheduling, my talk was scheduled at the same time as the one from my competitor so I did not get a chance to hear it. We had a good time though.

Thanks to jimgris for the photo. Jim is a master community builder and photographer and Tokyo is his home.
