What's cool about Moblin?

My good friends at the Intel Software Network have launched a terrific new way to deliver technology videos to the community: ISN TV.

For their launch this week, they invited me to give a brief interview on Moblin v2.0, which had its beta release last month. This was a fun way to show you the really cool features like the social networking integration, fast boot and shutdown, and some of the philosophy behind Moblin. I hope you enjoy it!

rik varela		 very enlightening presentation. moblin is indeed a good one for netbooks. i tried it with my lenovo s10-2. first as a live installation (usb) then finally installed it in the HD.

i did my installation at home while my 5 year old doing her homework. after minutes of tinkering, i want to shut the system down but couldn't find any tab or menu on doing it. it was only then when she pointed the power button.

why make life difficult when you have moblin? moblin is the soul for every netbook.
