Parallel Computing Laboratory Boot Camp

The Summer Boot camp, in-depth training on Parallelism, at UC Berkeley included talks and Labs on parallel architectures and programming models. Check out Links to the Par Lab lectures and videos on the IAC Moodle to get the  unique Berkeley view on architecting parallel software using design patterns, including discussions on a variety of parallel applications from image retrieval, speech recognition and computer music.

 

New Parallelism Curriculum Content, IIS

Under the leadership of Professor HS Jamdagni, the India Institute of Science created a comprehensive parallel programming curriculum now available for download on the Intel Courseware Access repository.  This outstanding curriculum integrates concepts of parallelism into existing computer science curriculum and will be taught at the newly launched Center of Excellence for faculty training at MSRIT*.

 

2009 Intel Threading Challenge
