Updated: Developer Tools for UPnP Technologies
By Ylian Saint-hilaire (Intel) (246 posts) on December 9, 2009 at 10:39 am
Just a quick note to mention that I updated the Developer Tools for UPnP Technologies on the web site. Fixed a 100% CPU use bug along with a few bugs in the C Microstack when running on computers that have no network cards. I still have a report of an exception when Device Builder first loads, but I can't make it happen on any of my computers so i am at a loss. I will have to put exception capturing code in the tools sometime in the future to help with these situations.

Hello, Is there an open source project hosting website for the "Developer Tools for UPnP Technologies" project ? How can we contribute to the project ? Cordially, Stéphane. |

There is a problem with the EventLogger class in the UPnP library. You must have administrative privileges to read or write to the event log (and under Vista / Seven with UAC activated, you must first elevate your privileges). So, some projects, like "AV Media Server", throw a SecurityException. |

Hi Ylian, Long time no see. Glad you were able to work again on the Tools. And that 100% CPU especially! Let's keep in touch. -s |
