CLR via C#, 3rd Edition Available Today

Jeffrey Richter's book, CLR via C#, should be required reading for all developers who are using the C# programming language to target the .net Common Language Runtime (CLR).

If, like me, you have already read the second edition you're maybe thinking "why read the new edition, I have already read the second edition?", you should remember that with the .NET Framework 4.0 comes a new CLR, task based parallelism types, as well as new language features within the C# 4.0 language.

In March this year I wrote a blog post introducing developers to the new language features within the C# language specification 4.0, you can read that post here.

Other books tell you how to do something using the C# language, with CLR via C# you'll understand the internal consequences, within the CLR, of your choices and you'll therefore be a more effective developer understanding those consequences.
