There aren’t too many opportunities for the “Manageability” minded to get together, but on the 15th of November in Santa Clara, California you can get your “geek on” at the Manageability Developers Conference dedicated to Standards Based Systems and Network Management Technologies. This is a conference by developers, for developers where the first day can be spent in introductory or advanced training to prime you for the technical presentations given by the glitterati of Intel’s Manageability Engineering team:

Rekha Raghu - “Accelerating the transformation to Cloud” where she’ll discuss the practical elements of the challenges and techniques to build a cloud infrastructure.

Billy Cox – “Building a secure and power efficient cloud” a discussion of what to do after a cloud is built: trusted compute and storage, power policies.

Kevin Jones – “Split Point – the superglue between enterprise and cloud services” presents Intel’s cloud security management product which addresses well-known security and manageability challenges.

Sound interesting? You bet it is! Register at: http://www.mandevcon.com/2010/registration.html and let us know if you’ll be attending.

Not at this event, Kathy. At this event, we'll only have the 3 presenters listed. If you have questions about the future of Manageability or how best to get started, these are the 3 people you'll want to meet.
