I love recognizing developers for the awesome work they do in developing apps. They put in countless hours during the app conceptualization process and coding to make their apps stand out amongst other apps. With that said, our two newest Black Belts, Andreas Breitschopp and Blue Innovations, definitely have demonstrated this, and it is my pleasure to introduce them to the Intel AppUp developer program community. In just one year, Andreas and Blue Innovations have definitely risen to the top; not only with their awesome apps, but also with their active participation within the community.

Blue Innovations Applications Development Black Belt
Blue Innovations (formerly 5dollarapps) is our Application Development Black Belt. This Black Belt designation is awarded to a developer or organization who consistently demonstrates quality and excellence in AppUp application development. In fact, in only a year’s time, Blue Innovations has published 21 Adobe Air Apps and 26 MeeGo Apps, and has won a number of developer challenges, which include the “Best App to Stay Informed” and “Best App to Stay In Sync”, and the “Dixons Home Innovation Project”. The masterminds behind Blue Innovations, George Christopher and Sureshkumar Gunasekaran, stay abreast of all opportunities and are eager to help developers in the community with helpful information on a consistent basis. George is a passionate developer and a specialist in bringing a concept or design to life in the form of an app in the shortest possible time. He believes that time, relationships, money and information are the most important things in life and hence focuses on creating apps that simplify the management of those things. On the other hand, Suresh is a creative designer and is the secret behind the powerful but simple and greatly appreciated user interfaces of apps like BlueBirds, MoneyBag and TasksBox. He is a visionary with specialized skills in conceptualizing and presenting a design for a particular requirement or flow. Suresh envisions that the apps that he designs should not function as mere tools but rather become an experience for the user to change the way they work, live or have fun.
Andreas and Blue Innovations, join our existing Black Belts Chris Skaggs, Dmitry Rizshkov, The Game Creators (Rick Vanner and Lee Bamber), and Brian Burrows.
