SciFi Writing and Future of Multicore & Netbooks?
By Amy Barton (Intel) (25 posts) on October 29, 2008 at 11:20 am

I recently chatted w/Mark Van Name, a science fiction writer and CEO of Principled Technologies. See our 2 short videos on the Future of Multicore and how is this vision influences Marks' Sci-Fi writing. And, what should netbooks of the future look like? Second, we pulled out a netbook, and asked Mark what he thought of the current designs, and where the industry should go w/netbooks. Are they here to stay? Well, in their current form, probably not... see what Mark says.

Take Five Videos: 150k Views, and Back to the Beginning?
By Amy Barton (Intel) (25 posts) on October 1, 2008 at 7:13 am

The ISN Take Five Video program reached 150k views since launch. Last week, we migrated to a new video hosting platform. All videos moved over, however posting dates, categorizations, and thumbnails were lost. In the words of Inigo Montoya, we had to "go back to the beginning," migrating, and re-migrating until everything came out the right way. Take a look at the site, what would you like to see?

I've read your comments on ISN videos (www.intel.com/software/videos), and took on the challenge to post more videos each quarter, make them snack sized and loaded with technical information. This blog post is to open the dialog - what makes technical videos work for you? How do you use and share ISN videos?
