The Intel® Threading Challenge attracts some of the most talented developers in the world to solve parallel coding challenges.  Now is your chance to take multithreading to the next level, demonstrate your threading expertise, and possibly win prizes.

This year's contest will be implemented in two phases, each consisting of six problems over the course of 13 weeks.  Every two weeks a new problem will be announced and you will have 19 days to complete your entry submission (solution and write-up, in English).  You will be awarded points based on your answers.  Be sure to take advantage of our threading resources and tools to solve your problems and get involved in the dedicated forums to earn extra points.  The top point earner for each problem will be announced on the site after the problem is closed and will be awarded a prize for that problem.  To motivate you to try more than one problem we will award a grand prize in each phase to the participant with the highest cumulative total number of points for their 3 top problem entries.  See official rules for more details.

Check out the Winners Page to see the list of winners in Phase 1 and find links to entries submitted from those winners and other notable participants.
