I read a white paper about Zone Rendering in the intel Integrated chipsets to reduce the memory overhead... I was wondering if there was any example or source code showing this implementation....

DXVA - 0x887600ff Error returned by IAMVideoAccelerator::Execute()

I am developing Directx Video Acceleration(DXVA 1.0) based AVC Decoder.
I have Intel US15W Embedded Graphics Display adapter. This Display adapter
has Intel GMA 500. I am having Windows XP on my system.

Please correct me If I am wrong that, Intel GMA 500 doesn't support "DXVA_Slice_H264_Short".
I am calling BeginFrame(), sending DxVA buffers using Execute() and then calling EndFrame().
All these fucntion calls return S_OK.

But when I call Execute() to check the status of the frame, by passing "DXVA_Status_H264" buffer,
it returns error code "0x887600ff". Can you please tell me why this error is coming?

Also please let me know, if there any documents provided by Intel for DxVA.
I got hold of "h264_AVC_X4500_Acceration_esardell.pdf". But this is for G45/GM45 chipsets.
Can I use this document for Developing AVC DXVA decoder on GMA 500 chipset also?
Please let me know if any additional information is required. Any help is greatly appreciated.

intel x3100 incompatible with windows 7

Intel GMA x3100 VRAM is 64 MB in windows 7 whereas it is 128 MB in windows vista ..

One of my friends have a problem regarding the VRAM of intel x3100 ... the VRAM is only 64 MB in windows 7 whereas 128 MB in windows vista .. because of this less VRAM he is not able to play pro evolution Soccer 2009 in full screen ... can anybody help out ...

Problem VGA-Cabel, Help !!!

Hello!

I have this kind of problem with my portable: Well,...

I wounder, when I connect own portable: Acer Aspire 5315 laptop in my Samsung-TV with VGA-cable, then the picture vibration and with the help of the cable it has not concentrated on the telly right, in other words the picture is on quite another side and a good deal jumps. =(

I bought the machine n.1 5 years ago so then laptop and there were no problems in the joining of the telly.

Now that I am my machine format and Xp Home installed an edition instead of Vista and install all the newest drivers / service packit Acerin, from the pages of Windows and from the pages of Intel VGA in the joining of the cable is this problem so.

Can there be such thrilling work that the drivers of the graphics card of Intel are too new so-called which so in this machine has been found when buying in which case the cable functioned well VGA...

What it is probably if a wiseer to clarify the matter one feels and where finds out from not what the driver of Intel graphics card in this machine has been original as a fault?

I buy new VGA-cable and same problem =(

I need a frame by frame dvd video player software.

I need to watch some reference dvds and videos and I am in need of a good frame by frame viewer. Most of the players fail to do frame accuracy(kmp, vlc, Gom etc). And I do not want to convert whole dvd set to sequential tgas or pngs.I would like to scrub the videos back and forth as good as possible.
I also need some of factors like
Detail enhancement
Color enhancement
Dynamic contrast enhancement
MPEG noise reduction

You have any idea?

So, the hardware supports OpenGL 1.4 and 2.0 but the drivers don't? Whats the deal here?...

Copying of structures

Hi, I am using legacy fortran code and it seems that TYPE structures are copied in many places using the scheme struct1=struct2. Then pointers are deallocated from struct1 (which are really pointers or copies of pointers of struct2). My question is, is struct1 copied I would think it is just pointed to struct2. This scheme has worked for many years but when calling the fortran dll from c#, i many times seems to get a Attempted to Read or Write Protected Memory error. Any help or advice is appreciated.

About GMA 500 Driver Development

I have a simple question: will the driver for the GMA500 support WDDM 1.1? The hardware is DX10.1 capable, but lacks driver support. Vista GMA500 driver is not compatible with Win7, using it leads to a lot of bsod in many operations. With wddm 1.1 memory usage for the dwm hopefully will be reduced, and maybe will get a better 2d acceleration, useful for flash apps. As a last chance, if wddm 1.1 support is not planned, will wddm 1.0 Vista driver be patched to work well under Win7?
