I have been getting several direct requests from members of this community (who are developing new parallel computing courses), that the generally published text book material is soulfully lacking current processor technology. Rhetorical question: Why develop new parallel courseware using single core processor documentation?

Intel maintains a series of Software Developers Manuals (SDM) that cover all the Intel architectures in minute detail, all they way back to the Pentium. including the current processor technology of Intel® Atom processor family and the Intel® Core i7 processor family.

These SDMs are avaiable online and can be ordered on a CD-Rom.

This resource CD-Rom contains the following manuals:
