    Use of Technology

    Hi Guys,
    I am new to this forum. I want to confirm that we can solve the problem by using any technology or is there any specification for that.

    I want to solve this problem using Qt ( Trolltech) so is it allowed to do so or not.

    Isn't Qt a UI API/Framework?
    Seems like creating a GUI app would not help make your RadixSort as fast as possible?
    Wouldn't a command line app be more to your advantage?

    If you can give the judges instructions on how to build and run the application and they can get it up and running on the judging platforms, it would be allowed.  We've had entries in Ruby and Delphi in the past contest.  Does Qt support some version of threads or other concurrency?

    Be aware that the judging machines are not necessarily local to the judges locations, so graphics won't translate well over Remote Desktop or ssh client.  A command line application will allow for the inclusion of the input and output file names to be chosen at runtime.

    Yes, we can create a command line application through Qt also. and We have QTread for creating threads.
    Qt is GUI library of C++.
    It can be complied on multiple platform as well.
