Hi,
I had posted a message some time back regarding saving bitmap images in 256 color mode.There was a reply posted but unfortunately am still not able to save the images right.I would appreciate any pointers or suggestions to get the code working right.I'd also like to know if the sample code in the XFT webpage worked for the 256 color mode or required any small alterations to work right.

Who says SDK C samples are supposed to work? :-). Here's the corrected version. iDepth argument e{1,4,8,16,24,32} also works now; if absent, screen color depth is used.
