Can anyone provide me with a name of an assembler equivalent to MASM to run on Windows 7 X64 platform?
I run MASM on the Windows XP X86. But since I use my Windows 7 X64 as my primary OS I wanted to know if there is any other assembler which could fulfill these requirements.
You can not run 16-bit programms in Win 7 x64.

Here is a list of 16-bit assemblers and someIDEs to consider:
- Visual C++ v1.5 (1992 versionor so / 100% 16-bit software development / It is hardto find)
- NASM (Open Source /Could be easily found on the Internet )
- Turbo Assembler v4.1 (Borland Corp. / Could be easily found on the Internet / 32-bit applications also could be compiled )
- Watcom C++ v7, v8,etc ( 32-bit applications also could be compiled / Awesome DPMI support )
- Open Watcom C++ ( Please research by yourself / Open Source)
