Fundamental problem with Array Visualizer

Hello,
I have compiled and linked the sample 'Brown1d'. After starting I get an error message, look into the attached file.
Operating System is Windows 2000 SP4, Visual Studio*.Net 2003 Academic, Compiler 9.0.030 .
Have anyone an idea, what to do?
