I have been using vtl 1.1 on IA32 machines. Would you all be supporting this on Itanium as well ?

Good question!
The Itanium version of this software is scheduled to start its beta test program at the end of September. That means it will be generally available at the very end of 2003, or the very beginning of 2004.
If you'd like to be considered for the beta program so that you can use the software during the beta test (and I hope you will want to do that!), then just send email to vtune.sales@intel.com and ask to join the VTune for Linux beta test program.
